Student-led service learning initiative LaunchPad earns Taylor’s Residence a regional spotlight at the 2025 APSAA Awards.

APSAA Award 2025 - Excellence in Student Experience - University

Taylor’s Residence has been awarded Excellence in Student Experience – University at the 2025 Asia-Pacific Student Accommodation Association (APSAA) Awards, a recognition of outstanding innovation and best practices in student living across the region.

This honour reflects Taylor’s commitment to nurturing compassionate, globally minded citizens through service learning programmes that build 21st-century skills and promote real-world community engagement.

Central to this achievement is LaunchPad, a multi-award-winning initiative established in 2019. Designed to empower student residents to lead change through hands-on engagement with underserved communities, LaunchPad exemplifies our student living philosophy in action.

Taylor’s Residence was recognised among other leading institutions and operators including the University of Sydney, UNSW, University of Canberra, and Scape – Australia’s largest student accommodation provider.

This award adds to a growing list of accolades. In 2022 and 2023, Taylor’s Residence was the only Southeast Asian student accommodation recognised at the Times Higher Education Awards Asia, receiving awards for:

  • Outstanding Student Support
  • Outstanding Contribution to Regional Development

This milestone is a testament to the collaborative efforts of our team, the strength of our student community, and the unwavering support of our NGO partners.
